Used to এর ব্যবহার

অতীতের কোন অভ্যাস বুঝাতে used to ব্যবহৃত হয় । Used to এর পরে Principle বা মূল Verb এর Present form হয় । 

 যেমন-

• They used to play cricket when they were boys.
• Asma used to sew when she lived in Kaligonj.
• We used to live in a small village but now we live in Sylhet.
• He used to smoke when he was a boy.
• Tareq used to catch fish when he lived in village.

Used to Interrogative (প্রশ্নবোধক) ও  Negative (নাবোধক) form এ ব্যবহৃত হয় ।

যেমন-

• Interrogative (প্রশ্নবোধক)- Did they use to play football when they were boys ?
• Negative (নাবোধক)- They did not use to play football when they were boys.
• Interrogative (প্রশ্নবোধক)- Did tareq use to catch fish when he lived in village ?
• Negative (নাবোধক)- Tareq did not use to catch fish when he lived in village.
• Interrogative (প্রশ্নবোধক)- Did he use to smoke when he was a boy ?
• Negative (নাবোধক)- He did not use to smoke when he was a boy.

Note:- Negative বা Interrogative Sentence এ Pro verb হিসেবে did ব্যবহৃত হয়, তখন used to এর স্থলে use to ব্যবহৃত হয় ।
